Ridley Scott hardly needs any introduction. As director and/or producer, he’s been responsible for many successes, particularly in the science-fiction genre, for decades.
Naturally, sci-fi fans became very interested, to say the least, by the announcement of the series “Raised by Wolves”.

HBO Max

Scott directs two of the episodes, including the premiere. He also serves as an executive producer for the show.

The plot centers around two androids, Mother and Father, played by Amanda Collin and Abubakar Salim. Their task is to raise human children in a mysterious planet, after Earth has been destroyed by war.

It’s been described as a mix of Netflix’s I am Mother and HBO’s Westworld. Nothing wrong there. First season is 10 episodes long.

HBO Max will start streaming the show from September 3rd in the US. For everyone elsewhere, there’s also apparent good news. Insider information says the series will be available, at roughly the same time, in other countries where HBO subscriptions exist.
